Engagement Photos
Hiring a photographer to shoot you and your fiance is a great way to celebrate your engagement! You can use these photos for your save the date announcements or personal website for your wedding. Here are some creative ideas to make your engagement photos one of a kind!
- Make it meaningful to you: you can choose your backdrop, maybe the place you met, or even the place you said yes? Choose a location that has some meaning!
- Inside or outside? You can have a unique backdrop, such as a rustic barn for the country people, or the subway or train station for those with city pride. These photos should represent you as a couple, and where you are says a lot about you!
- If you want to use one of these photos for your announcement in the local paper, many times there are specifications for the photos used. Often it is a close up picture, so be sure to get a variety of these to choose from so you are sure you have a keeper for your paper!
- Be comfortable: if this means being somewhere you know, such as your own backyard, then go with it! It makes for better pictures if you’re not nervous or unnatural.
